SmartSpace - A Revolutionary Change in Cargo Storage

SmartSpace Cargo Management System was developed from the ground up, with the support of Masterack’s largest fleet, OEM, and distributor customers. The highly configurable storage system features stackable shelf units, designed for use in the new high-cube cargo vans coming to market within the next 18 months, which include the Ford Transit and Ram ProMaster, as well as smaller fleet vehicles such as the Ford Transit Connect and Nissan NV200.

The new system is engineered with lightweight materials which provide fuel efficiency over traditional steel cargo management systems. SmartSpace is modular, giving users the ability to easily and quickly customize the system for different trades and needs, even after delivery of the vehicle. 

Additionally, the system satisfies Masterack’s installation partners’ desire to reduce installation time for the system. “Our customers asked for a cargo management system that would save them time, so we designed a shelving module that can be installed at 90 or 180 degrees for rear and side door access,” said Jenn Voelker, Marketing Manager. “We focused on the details, down to new drawer latches which secure drawers individually and provide quiet, rattle-free storage.”

SmartSpace will be available to Masterack customers in the fourth quarter this year.

The Harbor Hauler Body - Great for Trailering and Plenty of Cabinet Space!

Whenever people are pulling trailers, they always seem to need stuff and then they need someplace to put the stuff and here is the solution. There is plenty of room for stuff in this body and it is specifically designed to make trailering with 5th wheel or gooseneck very easy and efficient.

The Hauler Body is designed with a 5th wheel hitch in mind and has a lower height than our standard low profile body. This body is 30" compared to 33" for the low profile body. This allows the connection of the trailer and to be able to turn without affecting the compartments. Yet, this body still holds a good deal of cargo. The front compartment opening is 24.5" x 30" and the rear is 22.5" tall by 16" wide. This allows for good sized items. The horizontal compartment opening is 38" long by 7.25" tall. The compartments are actually slightly larger than this, but these are the opening dimensions on the 8' body. Available for single rear and dual rear applications.

A nice looking body that is so much more functional than the standard pickup for this configuration. Order a hauler body to improve your trailering life!

A Covered Harbor Horizontal Series Service Body

This body is a Harbor horizontal series mounted on an uplevel Ford 56"CA Box Delete Chassis. The horizontal box over the wheels extends to the end of the body and instead of a vertical compartment in the rear, it includes a smaller square box below. This option allows a wide variety of tools, parts and other gear to fit in that long horizontal box. It's a great option.

The body also has a Raised Cargo Bed Enclosure, but this one has a permanent top instead of the typical roll top or sliding roof. Notice the light on the inside roof and also how closely the rack fits to the top. It also has a conduit box mounted in the center which is more often mounted on one side rather than in the center. There are some other minor options, like the Stainless Steel Vise Bracket, but all in all, this is one sweet looking truck!
