14 FT Harbor WorkMaster With Roof Rack and Rear Access Ladder

Here's a nice Harbor 14 FT WorkMaster on a HD SuperDuty Ford Dually. This body was upfitted with a nice roof rack and a rear access ladder. Check out the conduit doors for placement of the extra long “stuff.” 

Access to the sky-high roof level is accessible by a rear mounted ladder on the driver’s side. Also, the pipe can be stored and retrieved through the small access door on upper right side. Also note the beefy step bumper..

The Harbor WorkMaster is a Service Body with a roof and additional useful features. It is available in a 10' (10' 4") for the single rear wheel cutaway chassis and comes with straight sides. In the dual rear wheel models, it is available in a 10', 12' and 14' models and can be mounted on cutaway chassis or on conventional chassis cabs. The Harbor WorkMaster is a perfect plumbers or HVAC truck, but is also useful in any number of different professions such as remodeling, mobile mechanic, locksmith, and other service industry uses to name a few. A Very Sharp Harbor Welders Body

Here's a very sharp welders body from Harbor! Super nice Ford Crew Cab uplevel truck and then there is this black beauty of a body. . . but not just a plain old body, this one has some twists.

How many welders do you see rolling around in rigs like this? Yet that's what this ends up being, or at least functioning with the custom space for the welder machine. Then, notice that it has a closed top on the streetside where the welder opening is and an open top lid on the curbside. This also has tie downs in the floor and a spray on bedliner to make it so durable. But, it look so good just looking at it! We'll just pull up some lounge chairs, pass around some brewskies and admire this beauty!

S.W.A.T. Truck - A Transformed Harbor Workmaster Body!

Here's a new twist! Take a plumber style body (popularized by plumbers, but is great for hundreds of uses), and make it work well for a S.W.A.T. Team vehicle. Harbor Truck Bodies has built several of these units. .

The top photo is a standard Harbor 12' WorkMaster Body mounted on a cutaway chassis. The SWAT modification is a standard 12' WorkMaster mounted on a Ford Crew Cab F550. What's really interesting is how Harbor has customized the interior.

The next two shots show a gun storage area with a sliding, lockable expanded metal door using the same type of locks that are on the exterior of the body (probably a different key though. . .). I'll bet that big metal door is gliding smoothly and almost effortlessly on Teflon (R) slides. They use that on all of their Cargo Bed Enclosures and it is far better than wheels with bearings.

Next is a long shot of the interior showing special storage areas that are unique to this body and fold-down seating when they need the team inside for a short trip. I love the compartments that have been made instead of the standard long shelves. It makes it so much more useful. I think I would be asking them to do that on my standard bodies as well. Plumbers would love it at least as much as SWAT Teams.

Notice the escape hatch in the roof. The roof is specially reinforced in this particular body to accommodate and support this need. You can see much of the reinforcement in place.

This type of body should work extremely well for this application and at a most reasonable cost compared to some totally custom job. With all the service body storage on the outside and all this special storage on the inside, this truck can handle a lot and the choice of chassis gives them all the support they need to make it all work together.

Sharp Red Harbor Highliner With Lots of Storage Space and Extra Features

Here is a very sharp red Harbor Highliner 11' service body is mounted on a Ford SuperDuty Dually. This body has lots of storage space and extra features making it a very sharp work-ready truck!  

The Harbor Truck Bodies Highliner Body is a TradeMaster Service Body with a set of boxes on top that have doors that open upward giving additional space for unique size storage. Because the doors open upward assisted with gas shocks, the items inside are easily seen. A great choice for someone needing a bit more storage in a great looking package!

Notice the slide out style drawers; they include a variety of heights for storage of tools and small parts. Easy to organize and easy to access and retrieve your parts. The drawers allow for access to many parts at the same time. The drawers lock into place individually and are secured by the outside horizontal door.

The bed area is covered with a 3-piece Cargo Bed Enclosure that opens up approximately 66% of the bed area. Cargo Bed Enclosures are very popular options that help keep cargo in the bed area out of sight and secure.

The body is backed up with a 18" Work Platform. It is available on any Service Body and provides a great work area for work on the job site. It has a compartment with doors on each side. The platform provides a great mount and workspace for the heavy duty vise. This is a relatively inexpensive way to add some great workspace for those who use their truck in the field.

Low Profile Harbor Service Body with Lots of Features and Great Visibility!

Here is one that you do not see too often,  Harbor Truck Bodies built this one for a water district.  It is a bit unique in that it is a low profile service body (34") with standard Stainless Steel open top lids and it has a Tommygate liftgate. In addition to this combination, there are a number of additions that are quite useful and effective.

There is a light strip at the top of the cab for working in harm's way, a receiver hitch, a non-forklift loadable rack with a strobe light and two outdoor lamps for night work. The rack also has a compartment made of partially expanded metal. Notice also the HD tie downs in the floor of the bed area and unique tie down anchors on the top of the body. All that beauty is mounted on the new Ford Super Cab single rear wheel chassis.

We love this whole combination of features and especially the low profile service body which not only looks nice and clean, but has so much more visibility.
